Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep information on your device in the same way. We call all of them "cookies" in this policy. It complements our Privacy Policy.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These keep you signed in and protect your account. The Service does not work without them, so they cannot be switched off.

• Authentication (__session, __client_uat, __client): set by Clerk, our sign-in provider, to keep your session and secure it against forgery.
• Payments: set by Stripe, Inc. inside its checkout and billing pages, only while you buy or manage a subscription, to process the payment and prevent fraud.

3. Preference cookies

They remember the choices you make so the Service opens the way you left it.

• fuolio-language: the language of the interface.
• fuolio-currency: the currency your portfolio is shown in.
• fuolio-privacy-mode: whether amounts are hidden on screen.

The same choices, and a few display settings such as the selected chart period, are also kept in your browser's local storage.

4. Analytics cookies

We use PostHog (ph_* cookies and local storage) to understand how the Service is used — which pages are opened and which features are used — so we can improve it. We do not use this data for advertising and do not sell it. Where the law requires, these cookies are only set with your consent. Error monitoring (Sentry) records technical faults and does not set cookies.

5. Third-party services

Our help center (fuolio.tawk.help, run by tawk.to) and the feedback board (UserJot) are provided by third parties that may set their own cookies when you use them. Their use is governed by those providers' policies.

6. How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and stop the Service from working; blocking analytics cookies has no effect on your use of Fuolio. Where consent is required, you can withdraw it at any time.

7. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the cookies we use change, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go to privacy@fuolio.com.
